A journey shaped by the sea, mountains and backroads
I’ve been riding these roads for some time now.
This is where I train, where I go when I need to think, and where I come back to, again and again. Girona is not just where I live, it’s where I learned how to look for the hidden corners.
Over time, you start to understand the territory differently. You stop chasing the well-known climbs and begin to connect the quiet roads in between. The gravel sections, the backroads, the small transitions that don’t appear on the maps but make everything flow. This route comes from that. It’s my way of showing what Girona really is beyond what most people see. From the inland forests to the coastline, and all the way to the Pyrenees, linking landscapes that feel completely different but are all part of the same place. Some of these roads I ride every week. Others I discovered slowly, getting lost, turning around, trying again. Putting this loop together has been about connecting all those pieces into something that makes sense when you ride it.
It is not just a route, but a way of moving through this territory. My goal with this experience is simple: to share these places with you in the way I know them.
At the right pace, through the right roads, without rushing. So you can see Girona the way I see it.
